She must had read and watched about that poor girl since
this turned up heating story for the entire nation. Each one had talked about
it, some shouted, there were much uproar, mixed brouhaha in headlines. Since 1
month has almost passed now and thanks to our sincere government efforts, life
is back to routine for all except that miserable family. I also scanned tiniest
scratchy detail concerning her and the fearful death. I too cried, prayed,
abused, shouted and fought with others and self. Horrors screamed in my dreams
and brutality mocked at the love I share with my beloved.I had to shorten my footsteps and I miss my evening walk
towards the Central Park that used to embellish my stress once. It’s true that
life has not changed but fear has indeed encircled smiles and darkness is even more
evaporated.
She too must have felt pity for ‘Damini .But” Life moves
on”, the same was in minds and so we left our self again in hands of destiny
and so what she did.’ But did things got changed, surely not for us except 29
year old married woman of Punjab as she got tossed by a group of gang- a bus
and a driver and few passengers again!!! So what’s the big deal, respect of
woman is now a hot and ‘forgetful’ chapter in notes of India’s 21st century.
I would like to name ‘Bharat’ as in a interrogating question
whether that Woman was travelling from Bharat to India or vice-versa or whether
her bus route got dislocated somewhere between the two LOCs. This answer can
give birth to ‘n’ set of flashy and sensational statements or policies and
surely be talked raucously by our god fathers. This time I too want to join in
smash rally with my creative slogans and eager to accommodate several days of mine
including the weekends. Please don’t take it other way of sarcasm I am very angry and
heart-broken. I am also a woman and I want to show my anger to our government. Yet I am positive this time they won’t throw water cannons on us. They too are
confident our hunger this time will last less than a week for sure because Mango people
have other things to do.
Exams of children are coming closer and working fleet have
to wrap their tax-submission for our nice governing bodies.And our youth actually have major challenge cracking their
GDs, Personal Interview and ultimately their career. So is there any section of
society that I have not counted yes old ones and free ones. Well free ones like us are busy managing families and who listens to old ones?? Even old Crusaders
awarded by government itself later become plight of deprivation.
For administration, there is no risk to their regime and
there is no threat for the culprits too. They can merrily enjoy bread n butter cooked in
stove of people’s taxable wages and sleep well in the cell amidst victim’s
society. Nevertheless these mushroomed cases have highlighted important aspect
that our law and order doesn’t discriminate culprits on basis of rich or poor
and strong or frail. Each one is free to express his views and live life even after raping other’s life to hell.Recent victim is still alive so we’ll get to hear spicy
stories of case for a longer period than the former dead case.
Interestingly rarest-of-rare case’s result is still to be
announced, so I don’t know whether this married woman’s case fall in which
category- normal, rare, rarest??
